Move Naturally

Steps Challenge

Inspired by the Blue Zones Power 9 principle, this Move Naturally Challenge is simple. People from the world’s original blue zones don’t pump iron, run marathons, or join gyms, they live in environments where moving naturally is part of their daily routine.

Start moving naturally by taking a walk and tracking your daily steps. Reach 225,000 total steps to complete this challenge. (Track your steps by connecting your device to your Sharecare account or track manually in the Sharecare app tracker.)

Sleep Challenge

By now, most of us don’t need a scientific study to explain why a good night’s sleep is important. Just think about how you feel after a restless night. The fatigue you feel throughout the day is proof enough that sleep is necessary for optimal health and well-being. Centenarians in the blue zones of the world sleep at least 8 hours every night and have daily routines to help them downshift.

Join the Sleep Challenge and challenge yourself for 21 days (or more) to get at least 7 hours of slumber each night by avoiding late meals, turning off your phone, maintaining a consistent bedtime, and creating an environment that is conducive to sleep. By tracking for at least 21 days, you are creating a healthy, sustainable habit! Good luck, and good night!
