The Armory

The Armory is proudly owned and operated by a local Sonora family. Jenn and Doug Edwards, took ownership of the iconic building in Spring 2022. They previously owned and operated both the Groveland Hotel and Hotel Charlotte from 2012. Originally owned by Tracie and Doug Kennedy, the building was home to The Bourbon Barrel, which operated from 2015-2017. The Kennedys had an incredible vision for the space, and with support from many excellent local contractors, designed the build-out of the Bourbon Barrel, Beer Garden and Event Center. Now serving an efficient menu of upscale, perfectly-executed food alongside beer, wine, hard seltzer, hard kombucha, hard cider, canned cocktails, fresh margaritas, and barrel-aged manhattans on our roof-top patio and in our lush Beer Garden.

The Standard Pour is a casual restaurant that features craft beer, unique wines and a diverse menu. Located on the outskirts of Sonora, CA in the historic township of Standard, The Standard Pour is housed in the old Pickering Lumber office building built in 1924. Our menu has been created to be unique, fun and satisfying. We take great pride in our preparation resulting in flavorful, ingredient-driven dishes. Our Daily Specials Board offers seasonal dishes, often sourced from our favorite local farms and purveyors, capturing the beauty and bounty of what Tuolumne County has to offer. Our draft beer line up offers 19 craft brews ranging from Pilsners to DIPA's to Nitro Stouts and everything in between. A Sour or Hard Kombucha is usually in the mix as well. We love to support our local and California based micro-breweries as well as our neighboring states. We've created an eccentric, yet unpretentious and approachable wine list balancing classic and unique wines from the local region, greater California, Oregon, Italy and around the world.
